I love the solace and quiet that sewing provides when one is feeling pensive. Idle hands do little for fostering morale.

So, when the laundry’s folded, the dishes are put away, and the kids are down, I am occasionally found withdrawn to the retreat of my small sewing table, busy creating and thinking…and making girly baby blankets. To give, to keep, or to finally put in the store.

Aww, yay! I’m so proud of you:) This one makes me think I could get into quilting afterall. It depends on the fabric for me, and these are totally cute patterns!
