Everything’s all abloom in the backyard. And, as flowers are beauties today and memories tomorrow, I’m capturing their debut…

…an Abraham Darby hybrid rose,

…and another in full bloom,

…an Oyez iris whose cameo is brief,

…and my eccentric new dahlia that soaks up the sunshine,

…the Ladybanks roses that provide pretty shade,

…and whose dainty blooms come without thorns,

…an Olympiad hybrid rose that’s ready to make a full entrance,

…fragrant Stock that waft such sweetness,

…and, while some blooms come inside,

…some can’t help but keep on dazzling with the cast out back.

How beautiful! I love flowers too, but am not as faithful as you to take note of their names. Your garden is obviously way ahead of mine. Our rose have just started to form buds and the dahlias still sleep in the ground. I must add some stock to my garden this year. I love the scent! Do you have a favorite nursery that I might try for locating stock? Enjoy all the blossoms and the blessings who enjoy the blossoms with you!

Linda, I buy my stock at Home Depot for the most part. Sometimes I do shop at Osuna Nursery. I love stock too; however, in this region, it seems that they are done by mid summer!

Lovely! These flower shots make me long for our backyard in South Carolina; it was full of beautiful blooms like yours, the crown jewel being the Lady Banks Rose that blossomed like a frothy fountain in spring.
