It’s not too difficult to give thanks when surrounded by family and feasting upon holiday fare. Neither are words of praise far from our lips when in times of good health, prosperity, and uncomplicated relationships. And yet, God’s word reminds us to:
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
(1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
Three very clear instructions for the Redeemed this Thanksgiving…and the other 365 days a year. Rejoice, pray, and give thanks–always and continually. God’s will for us today, found.
Happy Thanksgiving, friends!
