• The Frugal Table {Transforming Leftovers}

    Being frugal is less about setting a dollar amount and more about a state of mind, don’t you think? It’s not so much about doing all you can to not cross a certain financial line, but rather, to train your appetite to want what you already have. Simply put, I think frugality is more about doing the most with what you have than it is about having the most of what you can. I remember this line from a Sheryl Crow song says: It’s not having what you want, it’s wanting what you’ve got. My point is this: The goal really isn’t to just have more money. The goal is to be godly stewards of whatever God has given us; to make the absolute most of all of it with gladness. With gladness.
