An old friend said that Cinco would appreciate being “first,” and not fifth at something. She’s right. He will be the first of the five that has ever been photographed professionally in utero. Just like we were slow in getting family photos done, I’d never had any maternity photos taken either. I knew that I didn’t want any bare-bellied, husband-cuddling, children-kissing, marker-writing, cutesy photos…nothing wrong with those…it’s just not me. I simply want record of this miraculous thing I’ve gotten to participate in five times.
My super talented photographer friend, Amy Grebe, was just the right gal to get the job done…and help me have fun doing it.

Beautiful pictures Ruth…you are lovely! Does Amy want to come up to CSprings?
you look STUNNING!!!
The second photo is my favorite…love the texture and shape variation playing between the necklace, the curls in your hair, and the baby belly
.
She captured everything that is beautiful in pregnancy… and the look of love on your face in the second photo is beautifully tender. Love them!
Lovely!!
You are an absolutely beautiful pregnant momma! I love the photos, they are very sophisticated. This is my first time here, beautiful blog. I expect to be back often.
Congratulations
You look great! My favorite is the sunset one!
Baby’s room is a special, lovely place, too!
I never had any maternity pics either! Besides the fact that it has only more recently become a thing that is “done” I was always intimidated by it.
But Ruth, you look stunning. Really gorgeous photos. And that sunset picture really is marvelous.
These are beautiful! Amy is amazing and you are a gorgeous subject!
