So, I did it. After months of research and consideration, I broke down and finally purchased a stylish camera bag for myself. I had decided upon a Kelly Moore Bag, and when I got ahold of a coupon, I knew it was the time to seal the deal!
I chose the B-Hobo in “mustard.” I had originally considered getting grey (surprise, surprise!), but landed on the mustard after I read that it was more of a “saddle” brown, than a yellow. The B-Hobo is the perfect size and style for my needs. I wanted a bag that would not look cumbersome or utilitarian, but would hold a ton of gear. The B-Hobo has two padded removable velcro dividers that you can adjust depending on your needs. And, though it does not state it on the site (perhaps a new perk?), the bag also now comes with a long padded divider sized perfectly for an ipad or larger wallet. The bag has 3 outer pockets and two small slip-in pockets for cell phones and such. The bag is padded throughout, providing protection for your photography investments….
…or diapering investment, just the same! How versatile is that?
If you know me personally at all, you know that I’m a bit of a leather snob when it comes to handbags and shoes, but when it comes to a camera bag, leather is just too heavy! I was so pleased to find that my Kelly Moore bag is made with a water-resistant man-made material that feels supple and not stiff. It mimics the look and feel of leather so well…and it’s wipeable! With five man-cubs, that’s a must!
All Kelly Moore bags can be worn cross-body with a detachable strap that comes with each bag. Mine is a hobo, and can be worn on my shoulder, tucked right under my arm.
I love to wear it both ways!
