Welcome to GraceLaced Mondays! Grace is found in the everyday when you are intentional about taking note of it.
It is found in the sink full of dishes awaiting you after a family meal, it shines in the faces of your imperfect children, it soothes from the pages of God’s Word, and it is tucked into the enjoyment of a fresh batch of cookies. Grace is in a beautiful moment and a heartbreaking one alike. Grace is blessing beyond what you and I deserve.

I love that we have some regulars in this community who link up recipe posts for GraceLaced Mondays. While there may not be a direct connection between dairy-free mocha ice cream and thoughts on grace, it is indeed gracious to consider the art of making great food with healthy ingredients! I’m featuring the great recipe by Gabriela of Renaissance Woman today. Thanks for linking up, Gabriela!

I agree with you that although direct thoughts of grace may not be seen in a recipe or other home projects, grace directs our everyday. My post today on DIY No-Sew Cafe Curtains is an example. I have been blessed with a frugal spirit, while still wanting to maintain beauty and style in my home. While I may desire the top of the line custom home decorations and design, I will not allow ourselves to get in financial trouble over it. I consider that the gift of discernment — a grace indeed. So, thanks for letting me share my no-skills version of nice enough curtains!
I’m so excited to read your post! I love that we are encouraging one another to make the most of what God’s given us!
yummo! the flavor would be my favorite!
i am in the midst of figuring out if i need to go dairy and gluten free…so this is especially exciting
love ya, ruth! god bless you this new week! xo
Love to you too, Hannah! We’re not yet dairy or gluten free, but we notice a difference with hubby and his sinus struggles!
I’ve been trying to push myself into more of a Primal diet but it’s been a struggle because I just hate cooking. I’ve noticed that cutting out grain and white sugar makes me feel like a new person. But man, it’s difficult to do!
But, back to the original post- one of the reasons I love linking up with GLM is because it brings some diverse posts and viewpoints to check out.
Noelle, my hubby’s really noticed a difference when he stops eating refined sugars and grains too. I’m so glad you are here in this community!:)
Good morning Ruth!
Thank you for featuring my recipe! I’m all excited now.
It’s so encouraging to me to hear of people wanting to change their diets. I know it’s initially challenging but once you get in the groove it’s so worth it!
Eating healthier does take a measure of grace but I’ve found that God has supplied what I’ve needed in the way of that extra, overflowing abundance. It’s not about eating perfectly all the time but getting to know what makes your body feel alive. Our bodies are His temples – of course He will empower us to take care of them!
There are more recipes on my blog that are dairy-free, sugar-free, gluten-free, etc that offer some options as you start on a health conscious path.
Be encouraged!
Have a lovely week Ruth!
Gabriela
