In the midst of today’s weariness, temper tantrums, messes, and a feeling of unsettledness in significant areas of my life, the Lord gave me words to preach to my own heart, combat my flesh, and seek first His kingdom…

On the days when all you can see are the unfinished projects, the messy corners, and the incomplete areas of your life…turn your eyes to the finished work of the Cross, the clean slate you have in Him, and the complete freedom that is yours through His blood. Be faithful in the temporary, but walk in the eternal.

Walk in the eternal, friends…everything changes, except Him.

I’m so blessed that you’re here! I invite you to subscribe to GraceLaced!

Thanks for sharing this. Today was a bit rough here, too, and I’ve been struggling to see past the immediate chaos. I can’t be reminded enough that HE NEVER CHANGES. Love you and praying for you!

Today was one of those days for me, as hard as I tried I couldn’t catch up. Thank you for the sweet reminder that He has finished the real work, I don’t have to catch up. I asked God for that reminder and he answered my prayer with reading this just now. Thank you for your faithfulness in sharing God’s truth! A perfect blessing for me today.

So amazing how the Lord works, Crissie! I actually almost called you today, as you were on my mind…but alas, my day did not provide for it easily. :) Thankful to have made a heart connection with you today after all!

Ruth, thanks for sharing this on this particular day. It’s been one of great frustration and aggravation. We know in our heads that it comes straight from the pit of hell and that satan loves to throw us off our game. The reminder that it’s only temporary was just what I needed.

Yes, Betty, sometimes it’s really about connecting what we know in our head to what we believe in our hearts! Praise God he uses all things to sanctify us!
