This precious little one is but a week old. A rosy ranunculus headband only highlights the delicate beauty of this sweet thing. You may recognize the photographer as well, my friend who has a knack for making my creations look just.so.special.

It may be possible that you have bad hair days as I do. Or just plain ol’ roll-outta-bed hair days. We fondly refer to those days at our house as “hat days.” However, sweltering summer heat precludes me from enthusiastically donning a hat other than the ubiquitous summer straw hat. (Think black hair and enclosed space on top of my head.) I love straw hats. I just find them impossible to wear while driving, silly to wear indoors, and altogether itchy if worn all day! I want a hat that breathes, looks cute, and can be worn doing chores or going out. And now I have one. I love custom orders. The best part of making handmade is making handmade with someone special in mind. Miss Judy requested a vintage-inspired apron with a matching tea cozy. Her style is super-feminine, and her favorite color combination is pinks and greens. I was so thrilled to find Heather Bailey’s Nicey Jane fabric line in “Kissing Booth.” It fit perfectly. Guilty as charged! Adorable babies sure do help my baby hair accessories play their part! I continue to feel it a privilege to create lovely little things that get captured in images that will be enjoyed by these families for years to come. Do you remember when I got to photograph this little sweetheart at 5 weeks old?
